Phoenix Women get first win of young season

The Phoenix women defeated South Stokes 59-51 to even their record at 1-1. It was a total team effort both offensively and defensively as the Phoenix shook off some early game jitters and put the game away in the second half. The Phoenix women will be in action again this Friday at home vs Greensboro

The JV girls finished the season with a 53-49 victory over Eastern Alamance tonight. It was a total team effort.

Phoenix Girls complete Season Sweep of Reidsville

The Phoenix Girls defeated the Reidsville girls tonight 48 – 42 in a hard fought contest to complete the season sweep. The Phoenix were led by Kodi Centry with 23 points. Kodi needed 18 points to break the women’s career scoring record. She broke the record tonight by 5 points.

The Lady Phoenix pulled out a hard fought battle against Coeburn, VA 66-62 in double OT tonight. The JV Lady Phoenix fell 31-25 to Coeburn as both teams close out the Mt. Airy Christmas Tournament.

Phoenix Varsity girls fall 43-34 to Eastern Guilford tonight after a very hard fought game. The Phoenix were led on offense by Kodi Centry with 10 points, Maggie Bullins with 9, and Brittany Priddy with 9 points. McMichael vs. Reidsville

The McMichael girls varsity Basketball team defeated Reidsville in a hard fought game last night. This is the third win of a young season for the lady fighting Phoenix and hopefully the first of many more.
